Emma Hitchins (Singing Teacher)

Emma studied Musical Theatre at Mechanics Performing Arts in Wakefield and graduated with a BA (Hons) in performing arts from Hull University. She performs as part of a vintage singing duo called The Rum and Cola Girls, both nationally and internationally. She also fronts an 80s cover band named Philadelphia PA. 

Emma teaches a variety of musical genres including pop, rock and musical theatre and works to improve singing techniques such as breathing, pitch and harmony.

Alongside working at Reach Performing Arts, Emma teaches musical theatre classes and offers one to one vocal coaching.

Myrna Moore (Drama/Musical theatre)

Myrna has a degree in Humanities, RSA Diploma in Drama and a teaching certificate in English and Religious Education. She became head of drama at her school and later, head of performing arts.

In this role, Myrna led a team who created high calibre shows of all descriptions including musicals, straight theatrical performances and big arts events. Myrna has taught drama, GCSE and A Level drama and performing arts, preparing students for university, entry to theatre or performing arts courses and auditioning for theatre schools.

Myrna believes that enabling young people to acquire drama skills and having some access to performing arts is vital and is the means whereby young people may discover the route to self-discovery and the realisation of their own talents.

Davina Allette (Dance Teacher)

Davina Allette has been teaching now for 18 years after studying performing arts at Lambeth Clapham Centre, in London. Following her training she performed as a backing dancer for P Diddy, Faith Evans, Total, 112, H-Town, to name but a few.

 Having workedfor Kirklees Authority for some time, she decided to set up her own business and, for the past 17 years, has been teaching across West Yorkshire in schools and other settings. 

Davina says, "It's not simply about the dancing, but also about building a child'sconfidence and seeing them grow.
